Wise move Rick. Your 748R is the cream of the crop for anyone looking for a slice of that Ducati history. I strongly believe some of the quotes here are off the mark a couple grand and to the right person its a deal where you had it priced. Its funny when you go out and spend over $2 grand just on the wheels, people just don't feel that adds true value to the bike. Now, if you were to take the wheels off and some of the other very nice mods and part them, then you can lower the price and sell it. Thats a more likely scenario. That makes up the difference real quick between $7K and $9K selling price. Still $7K for a mint 748R like yours is giving it away and I wouldn't do that. Keep that beauty and I think in the long run you'll be happy you did unless someone offers you a smokin deal like someone did on my 916. Besides, you dumped some real coin recently into the bike making it mechanically perfect, now you can enjoy it, not someone else.
