Unless you have to sell I would just keep it. Prices right now are so in the toilet it really is unbelievable. I've thought about selling my 999 for over a year and never got around to doing it last summer, now I would be lucky to get $7500 for it. That is over $10,000 off MSRP in 5 years.

If go to places like Apriliaforum their classifieds are filled with bikes of prices that would have been steals just last year. A cherry Futura or Tuono for $5k asking price? It just seems too low.

The big question is when things turn around whether these prices stay low or rebound. I am inclined to think the former unfortunately. There are just so many nice bikes with similar performance made in the past few years.

As sad as it is to say, your R probably have trouble bringing $7k. For what it is, it should be more.
