I know that "price is determined by how much one is wiling to pay", but more and more KBB-citers (who the hell is this Kelly chick anyway?) will refer to nothing but that reference. I, like most owners, probably believe that the bike I am selling is worth considerably more than what I know sellers will come at me with (KBB Bible in hand).

So I was wondering: Have any of you bought or sold a Ducati(s) OVER KBB-stated retail value and how did you come to that decision? Was it impulsive or was there a greater sense of value for that particular Ducati?

Thanks in advance for the insight...

Welcome

My personal experience has been that KBB has been on the high side of the price ranges, sometimes in the extreme. I have found that looking at similar bikes in the market (from many sources) is usually a good indicator of what the bikes are worth. But if you don't have to sell, then name whatever price you would like to get.

Looks like you have a nice clean bike with some great additions I am not familiar with the 748r market, as it is a little specialized, but $7,500-$7,000 give or take some sounds about right.
