If your doing the 101 up from LA you should call the Vandenberg AFB Lodge. I don't know if they will have any room but its only like $20.00. The location is inbetween Lompoc and Santa Maria, it is about 30 mins south of Pismo. You can call the lodge @ DSN: 312-276-1844 or Comm (805) 606-1844.
