On the subject again, my question above is about the difference in performance between the stock 999 radiator vs the stock 749R radiator.

And if there is indeed a performance increase of the cooling system when using the 749R's rad, then I'd go and get one. I'm looking to drop the "race" temp on my 999 around 10-15C.

It holds a little more water. 2.7 vs 2.8 l It also has
imo the better spigot arrangement. With modified Thermostat
and fairing with cleared lower left fairing (electronics in nose) and
Silicone/Alloy tubing it never ran above 95C even on the hottest
days in RS race trim.
