I think credit is based on whether people think value and substance are inherent within the product, service or investment in front of them. American trust, promise and esteem has been trashed and abused like never before..ever. I think(hope) Obama will restore creditability which, is not the same as fixing the damage. None of that is any good if we revert back to dumb ass trickle down mentality after a few years of realistic finance, governing and respect for the law. Got to keep the throngs of incompetent affiliations and agendas of "last year's men" from regaining control of government and making a Baghdad out of Washington.
We saw a leader take over in 2000 and, basically, dismantle the greatest, most enduring pillars of America. All those smarts were ignored and mocked because it was a war on intelligence and religion with business playing the role of profiteer. We have seen treaties, truths, laws and conventions broken, laws smashed and abused, neanderthal tactics championed as official policy. We saw, institutionalized, religious racism, and a policy of deceit that is unprecedented in American history. Obama needs to repair the image and prevent jack off, right wing lunatics from EVER doing it again. How? By making sure EVERYONE votes. There is no way a group of incompetent, frightened, narrow idiots can win an election if everyone votes.
Dont think they will run America further into the ground? Just look at their actions these last few weeks. Have you heard? It's not their fault and Obama is a failure.
Just look at who is saying what. Who is friend with whom. Who avoids the blame like Bush/Cheney and Rush avoid the draft. I dare say, if Palin McCain had gotten in this last election, we'd be doomed or "shitfaced" and "decrepit wrecks constantly trying to beg or steal for their(our) fix".
Not a pretty sight.
