Default More comments please

I appreciate the comments so far. My real question is (the crux of the problem), if you were sent one very nice B vertical cylinder with a B piston that looked OK, plus the B horizontal cylinder shown in the photo (the scouring is very rough using fingernails) along with a C piston that had no similar damage (that is a bit odd, isn't it?), would you consider this to be a "good set"? Would you be satisfied with your purchase?

As happens, the comments are going somewhat off track, but they do seem to say that this cylinder/piston is not readily usable as is. All I really wanted was two good cylinders. This is what I got. I did not want to be sending parts out for repairs, using more time and expense and.....

When I asked the seller why he did this he gave me the classic "sorry about this, I did have some extra pistons around, and I thought sent you the right ones." He then suggested if I did not want to hone the cylinder [for the C piston?] that I could return only the damaged ONE. I sent all parts back to him, packed very well, and he has now stated he "will do nothing". I guess he plans to keep all ($) that I paid for these.

I did not really want to personalize this, but....... And I have not named anyone yet, but I do not believe this eBay seller is that knowledgeable, or he is not a straight shooter. He did something similar on an engine case he sent at same time, but that is another long story. But, I do not want others buying things like this from him, and then getting into word debates [and attempted insults about my perceived religion] with him.

Thanks again.
