it goes w/out saying... they are insanely heavy.
switching to modern tires only abates the groove following issue (which the oem tires are notorious for), but does not help w/ weight (since you still use tubes).

Wow, that is HEAVY. OK, that closes out that idea. (unless BST made some carbon rims, to be combined with titanium spokes and magnesium hubs, of course
