At the last ASRA round I weighed my RC which has every possible weight reduction thing done to it including Ti bolts and carbon everything...
It was weighed 3 times in a row, with a low of 397 and a high of 399.5.
This was with almost a full tank- there was fuel visible at the top of the filler.
*I can envision taking another 15 lbs off using Ti engine mounts and spacers, axles, and pivots, as well as Magnesium or Carbon wheels.*
*Also, I was using Erion canisters which are not light, so that could free up 3-4lbs.*
As you know, the ASRA scales are calibrated at each event and are used to determine legality of machines. I was a bit disappointed to see that all the time and money I spent making the bike light still put it roughly on par with a SuperStock style 1098...

What is really sickening is that Thorsten shaved 108 lbs from the OEM 408 lbs 1098 down to 300 lbs with 2.5 Liters fuel and could possibly be lighter! Check out his website.
Durbahn 1098 under where V3 weights are listed. Man that bike must be a serious missle!
