History has shown that when either party controls all three it is not very effective. If the super-majority happens as is forcasted, the Democrats will have no one but themselves to blame in four or eight years. Savvy Republican politicians will have to ride the fine line of sitting back and watching them implode (thus not putting a target on their backs in the meantime), and picking and choosing a few fights to have along the way (having the appearance that they tried to stop the implosion).
So to answer your question, no I don't think it will be a good thing.
Guys like Limbaugh or Hannity privately must be loving this. They are assured of plenty of material and a pissed-off listenership for the next four years, at least.
