So much for the fad of under-engine exhausts. The new crank is a great development, and differentiates Yamaha from the rest of the I-4 herd. I would guess it will sound quite a bit different as well.
This bike will bring Yamaha back as the leader in the literbike class, as the '98 R1 did a 11 years ago and FZR1000 two decade ago.
