You used double-standard and Rossi in the same sentence; you in trouble now.

There are race fans and there are Rossi (aka severely chafed leghumper) fans. Race fans appreciate the competition. Race fans recognize, without a plethora of excuses when Rossi was simply beat (Hayden - still stings doesn't it ), while still acknowleding Rossi's brilliance and overall dominance of the modern sport. Race fans enjoy the spectacle that is Moto GP despite the spectacle today not being comparable to the heydays of the 500s.

Rossi leg humpers revel in Rossi only, not Moto GP. The looming problem for the leg humpers but the best part for Moto GP fans is when Rossi retires so will the leg humpers. It's similar to the blind loyalty some have to Ducati, HD, BMW and in one odd little case, the V4 . The problem, for the leg humpers, is that unlike the factories, and like the V4, Rossi will eventually go away and someone else will take the healm. The leg humpers will have nothing to sate themselves with on a seasonal basis. The years of derision the leg humpers held for the other riders on the grid simply won't allow them to enjoy Moto GP like they did in the Rossi era. I'll miss Rossi but I won't miss the leg humpers.
