I did my 748 in black with white number plates, and gold pinstipes. Did some different graphics in vinil and cleared over everything. Looks like it could have been a factory paint scheme, except they didn't do black till much later. The world is your oyster as far as colors go, do a line drawing of your bike and make a few copies. Color it in with colored pencil or marker, and keep doodling until you are satisfied with the paint scheme.
