I'm into Jeeps and off-roading (just sold my baby, 83 CJ-7, to pay some bills and afford some mods for the RC51) and the couple forums I belonged to showed a W I D E range of Jeepers. from guys that just liked something they could put the top down in the summer time and to have 4 wheel drive in the winter (practical), up through the hardcore rock crawlers that have vehicles that barely resemble Jeeps anymore. Every single one of these people were "True" Jeepers, they just enjoyed their Jeeps in different ways.

The very second someone is only allowed to enjoy a certain vehicle ONLY one way, the support and interest in that vehicle dies to the point that there are no more aftermarket parts for them, no more people that want to purchase them, and in the end, no one left that wants to race them 'cause they are too hard to get parts for.

There are limits to this...Jeepers look at the guys that lower and put stupid tuner wings on Jeeps, the same way we look at guys that lower and stretch RC-51's. Some things just do not need to be done to certain machines!
