I think moreless EVERYTHING regarding the RC51 is already answered here.
CONSIDERED the Q's reg. the RC51 within a normal mod/service-Area.
Times have changed, the RC51 was born 2000..... when PC's have had 10Gb Hardrives as premium PC ( am I right ? )
Note, we write 2008, and - as far as you would like to be cutting edge with your race RC- all the latest mods ( as shaving weight is a precondition anyway ) are inside Electronics. But people here , at least my Perception is , are not very familiar with that new Area, so there's not a lot for me at least to answer ( as the weight saving mods are all available here by the search Function ).
Some hints plain:
- you use the Bike for commuting : leave it as it is
- Track ? : make it light first
- you wanna be fast on track : Airbox/Pistons/Engine Work/Suspension
- wanna be competitive : Traction control is the way to go ( but I assume I'm talking to walls, as for the dough.......... )
