docshorty, there are MANY here like you, myself included. I don't own one piece of leather (except gloves), I don't do trackdays (though I'd like to try it), I commute most of the miles on my bike, do some street group rides with racers, stunters, sport tourers, etc. and generally just enjoy getting out of the house and riding. I own an RC-51 because it is a badass Honda with some real racing heritage, and it stands out in a crowd. I've even talked to supposed 'Honda Guys' that don't know what an RC-51/45/30 is.
It's OK to simply enjoy our bikes without canyon carving or racing them...it really is!
