The stock rearset is no heavier than aftermarket. And more comfortable too. The f2 bottom tripple is the same as the hawks. Most bikes from the factory come with a steel lower. When you asked at first i listed it as just a suggestion. You'd have to go to a custom tripple tree set to get an aluminum set. Not worth it unless you want a different offset. If your goal is to lighten up the bike putting a f2 front end or any other front with dual calipers and disk is working backwards. There are other ways to get better braking and suspension.

For the sub frame,depending on how handy you are you could either hack up the stock or make a copy of the hyperform pretty easy.

Your tires could also be a great source of weight loss too. Some of the softer compound tires are much lighter than the regular street type.
