Now, I will say the new 600RR is sopposed to be good, but I haven't ridden one, nor has anyone I know. That being said most people I have spoke with would much rather have a Triumph 675 or a Gixxer750 if there trying to stay away from liter bikes. Who knows though, maybe they will actually give their customers what they want (150+HP 1200cc, sub 420lb., RC62???), but considering Honda's track record of late...not likely. Have a solid Labor Day

You too Eric! Hope you have a great holiday. Mine will be good as I am at work making triple time! LOL
I know what your saying is true if you look at the spec sheets...My guess is that you are a far more capible rider than I am and are looking for peak performance from the showroom floor... whereas me being a young rider (skill wise) look for the most userfriendly package... and thats actually the niche honda seems to have found... making their bikes the easiest to ride fast...
I'd love another honda V sport bike, but im finally learning that timeless lesson, I need to go slower to be faster. I've unloaded my RC and am looking at a 600 or LWT twin ride for the track and a naked twin of some sort (KTM, Ducati) for the street. There was a photoshop some time back of an RC51 motor in a supermoto type chassis... Now THAT would be a dealmaker to keep me buying honda.
