In August of 05 I picked up a brand new 2005 ST3, by August of 06 it had just shy of 19000 miles...it was a slow year...too many projects not enough riding time.
The ST3 is bullet proof....I have beat the crap out of this bike, and it keeps running like a champ. I have no idea why anyone would change out the stock saddle....it is easily a 700 to 1000 mile a day saddle. I'm 5'6'' and found the bike set up perfectly for me. The only thing I have done to this bike was add heated grips (dual stars) and a givi top case. A friend of mine sat on the bike once...and she immediately went out and bought one....another friend of mine...test rode mine (she was gone over 2 hours
) and immediately bought a ST4....I swear ride a Ducati ST 3 or if you can find a 4, you WILL buy it.
