this is really a trial and error proposition. If I had a complete front end, so I did not have to worry about wheels and brakes. I would take off my front end and try it. first thing to do is measure the length and see if they are even in the ball park, from the top of the triple clamp to the axle. I have had mixed up parts on many bikes. A suzuki rg500 fork on a yamaha sr500 single, a gsxr 750 fork on my ex500 race bike, and cbr600 f2 fork on an rz350. It can be done, levels of difficulty vary. The gsxr fork is bolt on the ex, only have to change the steering head bearing to accomodate the larger diamer steering stem. the rg fork had a upper triple clamp custom made.
