Instead of flying on a business trip this summer, put the Duc in a 12x6 Wells Cargo this summer and drove to the destination in the Ozarks . Parked the truck and trailer at a hotel. Did the business thing, then toured the Ozarks for three days before driving all night back to Colorado.

Enclosed trailers are great. Cold rain all night going through Kansas. Serious wind storm in Oklahoma. Glad the bike wasn't out there in it along with road debris kicked back. Pulled off at a rest stop in Kansas and slept back in the trailer in a sleeping bag next to my baby . Nice having an enclosed, lockable trailer at the hotel. No prying eyes or weather hammering it. This trailer will suffice the next several years but the next one will hold at least two bikes easily, and maybe even offer a primitive sleeping area. As noted above, the F250 diesel didn't know the trailer was there.
