I'm both time and math challenged but here's what I have calculated.

DCW has given me a measure of 40mm (give or take) where the header and can connect. Not having a caliper ,I measured the circumference of the same spot on my 1000 at
5 3/8 inches. This converts to 127mm.

C=Pi x D calculates out to 40.4mm

So the headers are the same size on the 800 and the 1000.

Math whizzes fell free to confirm or refute my calculations as I was a history major during my 6 years at the local JC.
