Fact is, probably 90% of people would be faster on the Ducati given the track isn't all top end. That's not a very tough decision for me.

There have been some tuning issues with the new bike, too. One guy noticed something like a 20hp dip in the midrange compared to the previous S model, even though the R made more top end. I'd be highly pissed if I was that guy.

MVs are cool, don't get me wrong. I'm just not sure I can agree with the direction they are taking.

I like the Benelli too. I got to see the WSB race bike close up. Probably could have snuck in a sitting on it but that would have been rude. I love it. It sounded so cool too. Kind of like a big, low revving, booming 4 cylinder compared to the buzzy 4 cylinders and farty twins. I miss seeing it race. I don't even know where a dealer is, so I can't think about getting one.

Yeah man, I hear you but, the prices we were quoted there was no big differance, that's why I said, "I not sure what the problem is with MV"... because the prices were.... approx. OK...

2006 Corse he said right at about 22,000/23,000...
2007 R " " " " 24,000....... not $7,000 differance..

Plus for me, it's NOT about being the badest around, it's Reliability, quality, looks! Plus you know the whole emotional thing

Peace Jeff
