Done. Fuel line is fuel line (flame on). The Purolator came w/ 2 short sections of line and 4 clamps, the pinch and release type. Used 3 of the clamps over the flanged ends, used the screw type clamp for the non-flanged end on the pump itself. The filter is a bit longer than the stock unit, so I had to cut down the lines a bit, but that's it.

As far as "high pressure", I don't think we're talking 500 psi here. It'll work just fine.

Started the bike up and the slight hesitancy to rev and the reluctance to start are gone. These air-cooled Ducs are just like a Chevy 350; there's a million ways to keep them running well. Been thinking about selling mine to help finance an S4R this Spring, but man... it's a big advantage to be able to work on my bike myself.

Anyway, Mission accomplished!
