I have some pics from a '95. The colours may vary but the wiring should be essentially the same.
Looking from the rear, the 3 pin connector has Black (ground) on the left, Green/Brown (to the coils) in the center and Red (+12V) on the right. The ignition wiring in the haynes book is all wrong.
I'd post the pics if I could figure out how to upload them
