I can't give you a direct account of how it felt as I had other mods done at the same time. The change to Carrillos' was due to the strength of the rod, lighter weight and for overall engine balance. I don't believe you would want to just change the rods due to the Carrillos being lighter than stock. You would probably have to lighten your crank or flywheel, as I would recommend checking with someone that knows what they're talking about .
