I had my dealer install the Cycle Cats on my former SS1000DS. The fairing does limit the amount of height adjustability but the angle of the bars was vastly improved and the height was better. Although the instructions look easy, the mechanic said it was not an easy installation (much easier, however, than the CC installation on the 999).
