You might want to check out these frame sliders also
http://www.axljak.com/duc_sliders_1.htm. They are pretty sturdy and will hold up to a crash better than the CC personally. Unfortunately I have track tested both CC's and Axljak's, with the Axljak's doing a better job of protecting my bike overall. Either way they are both good items/companys and worth the $$ and time to install on your bike.
