I put some Ti-Ni 2001 996 forks on my 1997 SS/SP last winter and finally got around to putting the right springs and a Gold Valve kit in them. WOW! What a difference! They already tracked better and gave better feedback than the original forks, but now they feel so smoooooth too! I went with .85 kg springs and C-33 shim stack and they seem perfect! Funny thing was, I didn't know but the forks already had Gold Valves in them, but I went ahead and used the new stuff anyway. Anyone need a used set of Racetech Gold Valves for SBK forks cheap?
