I bought some led pieces that had 4 LED's in them and was shaped that fit in the recess on my APrilia really well. It is not much different that the space on the Duc panels. You could use those as running lights. I plan to just leave them open for now, doesn't look bad or you could connect the LED blinkers with the mirror blinkers kinda like on the Audi's and Jetta's so you have blinking light on the side view and from in front (Mirror blinker).

The LED's take next to no power so they would run in line with the mirrors quite easy.
