Don't use Bondo.
Any fiberglass repair outfit would be able to cover the holes easy enough, or you could try it yourself. Then find someone with an airbrush to paint the spot.
You could make your own block off plate, cut a template and take it to a machine shop.
Or, just get some flushmounts and use 'em as running lights.
