Okay, I did the aircone modification to my stock pipes. I like the sound, but eventually all of those rivets got loose and wiggly (with that mod, the outer sleeve becomes the main structure of the pipe, and the hanger is just bolted to the sleeve itself, since the baffle is gone).

I have a new set of stock pipes now that I am going to core. I would like to come up with a modification that removes most of the baffling, but retains more of the structure so it is not all held together with a zillion rivets in thin aluminum. I could use the aircone baffles again, if I can make them fit.

Any suggestions on how to do this? I just checked ducatipipemod.com - I think instructions for his modification used to be there, but I don't see them now.
