if I remember, the 800 doesn't have the adjustable levers on it, it's the coffin style master cylinder....
there is a screw that's set in epoxy on the handle (towards the pivot point), you can chip away that epoxy with a pick and take a small screw driver and turn the screw to move the lever to a more comfortable position...
either that or just get use to the new clutch....
might also try bleeding the clutch.....I know it's only got 500 miles on it and it's an '05, but it's something I would do anyways on a new bike....
