They work fine on my 96 SS CR. Of course, it wouldn't do a u-turn on a two lane road to begin with. I have mine mounted below the triple clamp. Form your photo, it looks like that would solve the fairing problem and then you could adjust for the tank. Call or email Cyclecat.
