Considering that my racing buddy totes his stuff up with a honda civic, I dont think it'll be a problem.

"Tounge Weight" is misleading. Because you dont actually have the full weight of whats on the trailer, pressing against that tounge. if the trailer is properly balanced and leveled (meaning that the hitch is somewhat even with the trailer), you'll be fine.

Its a fulcrum, basically. My izuzu trooper has a "tounge weight limit" of 250lbs. My Chevy Silverado 1500 has a limit of 500lbs, if that helps.
