I have a K6 750. And it is in the process of becoming a track bike. It is amazing on the track, so easy to throw around with awesome power. The suspension is fine for the street but if you are going to do a lot of track riding then it will require some suspesion work and definatly new tires.

I rode the 750 for about 2000 miles on the street and it is a fine street bike, but the reason that I am taking it off the road and setting it up for track only is because I also have a Ducati 999S and I prefer a twin on the street. For me, I like having the low end torque of a twin for street riding, it is much more rider freindly and easy to ride both around town and in the twisties.

But I also ride a twin on the track, and like that for its own reasons too.

Your best bet would be to try to find someone that will let you ride their 750 and see how it feels to you. Both are incredible bikes and will make awesome street bikes. If you want something that is a bit lighter and corners a little easier, then the K6 750 will make an awesome bike for you, but the RC is no slouch either, it is also an incredible machine that also has plenty of power, with a lot of low end, and still handles extremly well.
