I know that the supersport sidestand changed in 1994 to the "suicide" ride away stand and then in 1999 it became the "safe" can't start or warm up your engine while the sidestand is down. But what about 1990 to 1993? Can anyone shed some light on this subject? Preferibly someone with a pre '94 SS.
