I have the Handy Industries front and rear stands for my 01' 900SS and couldn't be happier with them. Not a thread of regret for purchasing them.

Front stand to be used for removing the wheel to change tires, changing brakes, cleaning rims without rolling the bike, and any other reason. I use the back stand more, but am glad I got the front, as I use it more than I thought I would.
IMHO the Handy stands are the best for the $. In three years I have never had an issue of the bike falling, tilting, becoming unstable, or anything of that nature.
