I'd definitely go with the K&N. I think if it were to get wet at all the paper element in the stocker would disintegrate quickly. Plus the added rubbing of the zip ties would wear holes in it. The K&N has wire mesh surrounding its element and so resists wear much better. I've seen a few folks who actually deleted the whole airbox and just attached a cone filter to each intake manifold. I think that looks really cool, but couldn't comment on the difference in sound or performance.
