As in one of my previous postings I let you guys know, that I'm a new duc rider but have been riding Jap bikes for a while. I'm the proud new owner of an 02 duc 900ss dark. She's beautiful, and comfortable in comparison to my torture rack r6, she growls, and I love her.

But....

1. I let her run for awhile yesterday because when it was delivered the battery was pretty flat but didn't realize it was "air-cooled", so when I jumped on her there was nothing there, but after I let her cool she ran strong, and smooth. (the smooth shifting is great)

2. Torque, the torque was not what I expected it would be in the 3k-6k range, (Not that this is bad just different)

3. Carbed bike, I wasn't aware the 02 was a carbed bike. So I assume if I change the exhaust canisters (although the previous owner cored the current) it will need to be jetted. Is this correct?

4. I rode it last night and today, and in closing must say..... I think I'll probably have to sell my r6 (or turn it into a track bike) because I'm in love.
