The Beasley tailsection I used on an old race bike was gelcoated like the original LP stuff that everyone hates. It's brittle, and you'll have spiderweb cracks in your paint in short order. I bought this piece at least five years ago, so it's entirely possible that he has changed his construction techniques since then. If not, I'd steer clear if you're looking for anything better than basic race glass.
