Did they make a difference????

I am still trying to figure out the benefit other than helping to reduce possible warping (which in itself is a good benefit....)
The sole reason I swapped full-floating buttons in, was to help "reduce possible warping." I went through two pair of snowflakes before getting 998R narrow-band rotors in which I installed the buttons. Of course it could simply be the new rotors, but I have over 10,000 miles on them with no issues. Implied benefit enough, for me.

Back to your question...the little guys save a suprising amount of weight. I forget exactly how much, but I think is was around 12oz for the pair of rotors. It would have been more with the snowflakes, given they have more buttons than the 998R narrow-bands.
