Default Track Prep for GSXR750 K6

So my new GSX-R750 K6 is finally here. Which means that I get to start tearing it apart and putting it together for track only use. So far, I have clipons, rearsets, body work, etc. on order. Suspension and brakes may come later in the season (budget allowing); exhaust will probably stay stock for quite a while, as I don't really care about the power at this point. It should be enough for me for a while at any rate, while I work through my first few track days.

So my real question is what should I be doing to the bike to make it ready for dedicated track use? Are there any good web sites that people can suggest? I am looking for everything from a how-to for safety wiring and drilling to replacing brake lines to anything else that should be "obvious" but probably isn't to me. I am pretty new to the wrenching here too, but really looking forward to it--it will probably be half the fun. Where can I find torque settings for bolts and such? Anything else I should know?
