Thanks for the kind comments fellas.

I'll be campaigning the SV in most Twin classes this year except superstock as I have a heavily modified GSXR front end on the bike. I'll probably bump up and race some Heavyweight Twins races as well agains the Ducs and fiddyones, just to get more track time.

The thing is, I started track riding on a stock SV650 back in 2004. I think it was a good thing as it taught me how to ride around certain problems and adapt to a bike with an less-than-stellar setup. I learned how to develp and carry corner speed and to really be smooth on the imputs.

Then last year I raced CCS and CRA Middleweight Supersport and Superbike on a very well prepped 2002 R6. I got some very repectable results even though I started almost every race from the 6th row back or deeper.

Instead of racing again in the Gun and Knife club that is 600 I-4's, I decided to get back on an SV as I watched guys I know win and place on the podium last year in SV races to whom I know I'm just as fast if not faster. So instead of being happy with top 10 finishes, I plan to visit the podium if not the checkered flag a few times this year. Hopefully I have the right bike underneath me to do that?

Later...
