If the clutch is not malfunctioning, just that you have to slip it a lot get off the line, then I would say its just the nature of the beast. Ducatis are geared pretty high from the factory. Changing the clutch pack won't do anything, really.
Once you lower the gearing, you won't have to slip the clutch as much.
