Ducati Desmo Due Race Series - UK
Just thought you may be interested in the Ducati Desmo Due race series over here in the UK (and one round in Holland at Assen at the Ducati Club Races – mental).
Check out the Ducati Sporting Club UK website for info and pictures. It’s a great way to start racing; and what better bike than on old 583’s (Class B) and 620’s (Class A).
The key seams to be to do as little braking as possible and hold that corner speed! Also we use Pirelli Diablo’s – not corsa’s and they stick rather well, even in the wet as most of us found out at Brands…
There are some interesting modifications too, fairings, exhausts etc. You would not believe how good a monster looks with an Orange 916 race fairing!!!
Ps anyone got a spare fuel tank? I trashed mine at CadwellPark…
