The Cush parts are tight to the hub piece. Here's what's up:

THe AFAM carrier is thinner than the OEM rear sprocket. So what is happening is that there is a gap between the retaining ring washer and the retaining ring when installed. With the assembly on the bike, I can grab the sprocket and pull it in and out (axially) about a millimeter maybe less. If I push it in, I can see a space between the cush drive retention tabs and the cush drive parts.

I looked at it again (took it apart) and the AFAM carrier is just too thin (narrow) under the retaining ring so it lets the sprocket move in and out along the wheel axis. Left and right when standing behind the bike.

Since the front sprocket has some axial play, I was wondering if this is the way the rear is supposed to be?

Thanks,

Sandor
