Road America is a big place, nearly 4 miles around, so you get some good miles. it was a NESBA day and they run a tight ship. stuff happens on time and you get max track time. minimal crashes due to the fact that it was 95% racers out there helps too. i saw 1 red flag in my group all day.
30mpg on the track is incredible too. You must have been taking it easy on the engine, cause i can't see how anything could produce 30mpg while sitting around 9,000+ rpm for the most time.

9000 rpm? it's just getting started at 9K. no taking it easy here. that thing is broken in and ready to rock. i set the shift lite to flash at 14.5 (redline is 15) and banged shifts when it winked. tested the rev limiter a few times also. i was riding as fast as i ever have. not the fastest in the I group but not the slowest either.
i was impressed with the mileage also.
