Default 900SS/FE GP shift

i have a '98 FE. GP shift works great on Super Sports.
moving the clamp on the shift-shaft is the right way to make this change. be aware of the position as it relates to the foot control. since this will be different direction, you'll want to know what feels comfortable to you for up-shifts (that you'll pad down), and back-shifts (that you'll toe up).

i also understand trying to keep track of which bike shifts which way. all my bikes with linkage use GP shift. I have an older Honda XR that has no linkage. i can't count how many times i've slapped a back-shift when on the gas off a turn. makes for some wicked slides! (and "i meant that" if i don't fall!!)
working on a '69 Triumph T100-C (ala Steve McQueen). it has RT side shifter.

BTW: upgrade your clutch slave. it makes a difference. i use the Evoluzione. if you get one, make sure you inform you use GP shift (the lower slave bolt is shorter to clear the shifter)
