Question Wiring (best) for running lights

Hi guys. I am changing my front turn signals to LED flush mount turn signals with running lights. Stock wiring for turn signals have two wires. The running lights kit has three incoming and two outputs that goes to flush mount LED. In order for the running lights to work the third wire needs to be connected to a steady 12V+ source. Easier said than done – instructions say just tap to the headlight or taillight source. I also bought a 12V tester…. I don’t really want to rip the clean and secure wiring to hunt for the correct wire(s). Does anyone know or can advise which wire is best to tap into for the running lights? If anyone knows the color and exact location that would be swell so I don’t have to snip unnecessary wiring.--- thanks guys! - LG
